Sketch dump 52

Description

It took some time. University was calling. There will be a few watercolour paintings during the semester break, though, so I’m not dead yet. In fact, I’m very productive.

Anyway, have the next sketch dump! I’m aware of and apologise for the fact that I didn’t arrange them very cleverly, I hope that will be better in the next sketch dump. Stay tuned for it. As usual, I‘ll try to go through the sketches from top to bottom and left to right.

-My cats
-Silly ravens
-the goddess Nature and some birds
-Snail-thingy
-One of the Fates
-Random troll
-wee tiny little character portrait who may or may not get a background story some day
-Infuriated Fame (she’s back!)
-location concept for a crossover project
-derp whale
-another concept
-A more bird-like Fame, a bit like those medieval depictions, you know. Will be disneyfied sooner or later. Yes, I’m serious.
-OC portraits

-More OCs. Rulers of winter family picture. Includes spouses. Leaves out the rest of the extended family, though. Because otherwise you’d be disgusted by the overload of elves. Messiest sketch ever.

-Altair. I totally blame my older sister for infecting me with her Assassin’s Creed obsession. She almost got me with her Dragon Age mania, she certanly did with Assassin’s Creed! I mean, you play kick-ass assassins who jump from high places and always hit a heap of hay. In awesomely interesting historical settings. And the music! I just love it. Naturally, I like to have „Venice Rooftops“ playing in an infinite loop (even though I admit Jerusalem rooftops would be more appropriate in this case). I suppose my sister and I will both end up impatiently waiting for AC III (and I will certainly love Connor just because he is half native American). So I scribbled a tiny Altair before even actually playing one of these games myself. Uhm.

-I’ve been listenening to the new Poets of the Fall album and of course I love it, so I HAD to scribble a couple (even though these two are rather partners in crime). I know I should do more couples.

-Small Nuada fanart from Hellboy II. The movie itself is, well… maybe okayish (I loved Pan’s Labyrinth, though, although it gives me nightmarish creeps and made me cry like a baby at the end). I’m not even that fond of Luke Goss, but he’s absolutely georgeous as Nuada. He and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki share the honour of being the fucking hottest super hero movie any kind of movie any kind of media villain of all time. The elves in this movie are so perfect that it makes me sad that Guillermo de Toro is not directing The Hobbit. On the other hand, I doubt that he would have been granted any influence on cast and make-up, though. Oh yes and I squealed with pleasure when I saw a glimpse of the Giant‘s Causeway in Hellboy, going „I was there! I was there!“, and I was disappointed when they didn’t show anything more of this wonderful place. Guess they didn’t get the chance to film it without tourists on the screen.

I feel like that tower is going to collapse as soon as a big storm or an earthquake comes along. XD
