The Fire Inside

Everybody’s favourite elven disaster is back on track!

I felt like painting flames. So I scribbled a sulky Feanor. I see him pretty much as a psychopath (one I shouldn’t feel so sympathetic towards, but anyway), so I wanted his glance to look as terrifying as possible, and his whole stance to look as if he was on the brink of explosion. He’s probably about to shout something not really nice but nevertheless true at the Valar.
I couldn’t quite decide whether I wanted to put him in cloth or in armor and ended up somewhere in between, so this could be Feanor at any stage in history, really. Furthermore, I couldn’t quite decide whether I should stick with my original colour scheme or simply let the paint do what it wants and ended up somewhere in between with that as well.

Today’s music suggestion: Apocalyptica – Cold Blood. The imagery is totally wrong, but the mood fits wonderfully, and I listened to it shamelessly in infinite loops while preparing the colour scheme.
(I also need more Apocalyptica in my life, uh)
